It’s unlikely that you’ll need to create your own library for a particular type of content, but it’s easy to see why you might want to create your own library for special projects, or for specific groups of content that you \ would like to keep separate from the Standard Libraries for some reason.

Imagine for example that Javed and Ali are working on a book called, say, Win 7 tips. Sure, we can arrange the working files for this book in a folder found inside the My Documents folder, and accessed via the Document Library. But since we’re will have access to these files as often, it might be worthwhile to create a win 7 tips library for this purpose.
